CBS Sets Premiere Date for Rush Hour, Moves Elementary to Sundays
CBS released new premiere dates and a few shifts for its upcoming spring schedule on Friday. I should preface this by stating that if you’re here looking for a premiere date for the fifth season of Person of Interest, you will not find one. However, if you’re here looking for a premiere date for CBS’s adaptation of Rush Hour, you’re in luck!
The series, based on the film franchise starring Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker, will debut Thursday, March 31 at 10pm. Elementary, which currently occupies the time period, will make the move to Sundays at 10pm beginning March 20. And for the three people reading this who just gasped in horror and said, “BUT WHAT ABOUT CSI: CYBER?!?” you’ll be happy to know the series is moving to Wednesdays after Code Black wraps up its first season on February 24. Unfortunately, the move is only temporary. The latest CSI spin-off will air at 10pm for two weeks beginning March 2 before being bumped off the schedule by the series premiere of another spin-off of a long-running CBS procedural, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, which is now scheduled for March 16 at 10pm.
