Father attacks daughter’s killer in court (video)
“I guess we are supposed to find it in our hearts to forgive this clown… who has taken my child,” said Van Terry, the father of victim Shirellda Terry, when invited to deliver a victim-impact statement captured on video by CBS affiliate Cleveland 19 News.
After a short pause, the 46-year-old Terry then ran and lunged across a table at his daughter’s killer, Michael Madison, who was described as taunting the victims’ families in court — and who appeared to smile broadly upon drawing Terry’s ire. The men were quickly separated by sheriff’s deputies and escorted out of the courtroom.

Madison was convicted by a jury last month of multiple counts of aggravated murder and kidnapping in the deaths of three people — Shirellda Terry, Angela Deskins and Shetisha Sheely — whose bodies were later found in garbage bags.
The same jury deliberated for less than a day before recommending Cuyahoga County Judge Nancy McDonnell hand down a death sentence to Madison, which she did.
